Fixer in Berlin for Film & TV
Local production support since 2011
Fixer for Smooth Film & TV Productions
Reliable, well-connected, and used to working with international crews under tight deadlines.
With over 20 years of experience in the film industry, I understand the fast-paced and often complex nature of film and TV productions.
While working as a producer and production manager for German production companies over many years, I also relied on fixers during international shoots. This perspective allows me to anticipate the needs of productions and provide practical, on-the-ground support.
Over the years, I have supported more than 140 clients, including BBC, All3Media, Banijay, and Saatchi & Saatchi, working as a fixer and local producer. I have also secured over 500 locations for a wide range of productions, from documentaries and TV shows to branded content and news segments. A selection of clients and projects can be found in my client list and portfolio.
As a native German, I have a strong understanding of local structures, workflows, and regional differences. I work fluently in English and regularly collaborate with international teams. Working directly with me means clear communication, efficient workflows, and hands-on support throughout the entire production process — without intermediaries.
With a background in journalism and documentary filmmaking, I also support productions with in-depth research and conducting interviews where needed.
While based in Berlin, I regularly work on productions throughout Germany.

Berlin offers a unique mix of historic architecture, modern urban locations, and a vibrant creative scene.
As one of Europe’s most sought-after shooting destinations, filming in Berlin comes with specific administrative processes and logistical challenges. International productions benefit from working with an experienced local fixer who understands these processes, communicates directly with the relevant authorities, and ensures efficient coordination at every stage.
Filming in Berlin – What to Know
Obtaining filming permits requires strict adherence to local regulations and deadlines. The relevant authorities often operate at full capacity and, in many cases, recommend working with experienced local professionals.
Key points to consider:
- Permits are issued per location rather than as a blanket approval
- Permits are required for all shoots in Berlin, including smaller productions
- Processing times for small crews are typically around 14 working days, although faster approvals may be possible—particularly when working with a local fixer familiar with the process
- Processing times for larger shoots are usually three weeks or more, once all required documentation has been submitted
- Drone filming in Berlin is particularly complex due to multiple no-fly zones and strict regulations
With the right local support, productions can move efficiently from initial planning through to execution—avoiding delays and unnecessary complications.
I support productions in assessing requirements, securing permits, and coordinating with local institutions—even within tight timelines when needed.
